Betamaxx is the performing name of Nick Morey, who launched the project in 2012 with the album Lost Formats. He gained wider recognition for a 2014 remix of Tangerine Dream’s “Love On A Real Train” and for the inclusion of his track “Redlining 6th” on the Kung Fury soundtrack. After a brief public hiatus announced in 2015 he returned with subsequent releases including Lost in a Dreamworld and the concept record Sarajevo.
