Formed in San Diego, Cascade Effect is a contemporary metal band known for blending deathcore, groove and melodic death influences with nu-metal energy. They were nominated for Best Rock or Indie/Alternative Song at the San Diego Music Awards (2025) and represented the USA as winners at the Wacken Metal Battle. The band has opened for acts such as Powerman 5000 and played venues including Brick By Brick and the House of Blues.
