Born in Sinaloa and raised in Batopilas, Núñez moved to Phoenix as a teenager, taught himself accordion and began performing with local bands. He broke out after viral posts on TikTok, has released an EP ('En vivo desde Houston') and multiple singles, and has sold out U.S. dates while accumulating millions of streams and hundreds of millions of YouTube views. Núñez has performed at venues such as the YouTube Theater and toured the U.S. on the 'Entre Compas' run.
