Fake Dad is the duo of Andrea de Varona and Josh Ford, formed in 2020 after meeting at a college party in Manhattan's East Village. They have released singles such as "Imaginary Friend," "Painkiller," and "Science Fiction," toured nationally (including runs with Wallice and Strawberry Fuzz), and closed out 2025 with a headline performance at the Troubadour.
