Gibson Jerome "Gibby" Haynes (born September 30, 1957) is an American musician, painter and author best known as the lead singer of the Butthole Surfers. He has collaborated with artists such as Al Jourgensen (Ministry) and appeared on recordings by acts like Mastodon, fronted the short-lived project P with Johnny Depp, and released a solo project in 2004. Haynes has also produced a covers record (Varshons, 2009) and exhibited his artwork publicly.
