Formed in 1968 by the Hernández family, the group has sold tens of millions of records and earned multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2025–2026 they presented a touring and documentary project titled "Los Tigres del Mundo," a stadium-scale show/film that celebrates their transnational legacy.
