Nerd Nite was founded in 2003 by Chris Balakrishnan as a monthly live presentation series featuring short, entertaining talks in public venues. It has grown into an international network with 100+ city chapters, published a book through St. Martin’s Press, and has co-hosted events with organizations such as Smithsonian Magazine. Many past presentations are archived on its official YouTube channel.
