The Funky Resurrection is a recurring monthly music community super-session hosted at Lou Lou’s Jungle Room in San Diego, presented as a successor to the Adams Gone Funky residency. The series features a house band with rotating guest players drawn from the local soul, funk and jam scenes and typically occurs on the first Wednesday of each month. Entry is complimentary and the nights serve as a regular showcase and community jam for regional musicians.
