Jacquou Jazz Orchestra (JJO) is the gypsy jazz sideproject of Jakovich (frontman of QUEL BORDEL!) in the vein of Postmodern Jukebox. The band features an all-star rotating cast of amazing musicians and some special celebrity guests (depending on the show). JJO was nominated for best jazz album and best jazz artist at the san diego music awards multiple times. The band predominantly features pop songs with a gypsy jazz spin — and also they can do gypsy jazz standards a variety of fun family friendly comic/tv tunes like Spiderman, Super Mario Bros, Tetris Star Wars, etc They have been featured many times at the Sea World Seven Sea’s Festival and deliver and fun and energetic show great for swing/dancing across all age groups.
