Paid parking is in effect throughout Balboa Park as of January 5, 2026; the closest option is the Tier 1 Casa de Balboa lot behind the building. City of San Diego residents can register online for discounted rates; a free 3-hour option is available at Inspiration Point with a complimentary tram to Plaza de Panama, and ADA spaces are free with valid placard.

MTS bus routes 7 and Rapid 215 serve Park Blvd stops on the park’s east side near the Rose Garden and San Diego Zoo; routes 3 and 120 serve the west side on 4th/5th Ave with a walk over the Cabrillo Bridge. These routes connect to MTS Trolley lines and other bus services.
